Registration terms and conditions

• Full payment for registration fees must be received prior to the Conference
• All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include goods and services tax of 15%
• If you cancel your registration on or prior to 28 June 2024 you will receive a refund less a cancellation fee of $70. Cancellations made after this date are non-refundable
• The Privacy Act 2020 provides that, before your name and contact details can be published in a list of participants you must give your consent.  If you select ‘Yes, I do want my details to be included in the list of participants’ on the registration form or by email, your details may be distributed to:
• Conference delegates, sponsors and exhibitors       
• Organisers of future Education New Zealand Manapou ki te Ao events
• If, for reasons beyond the control of the Organising Committee, the Conference is cancelled, registration fees will be refunded after the deduction of expenses already incurred
• By registering for the Conference you are confirming consent for any video and photographs taken at the Conference, in which you may appear, to be used by Education New Zealand Manapou ki te Ao in promotion of the Conference
• By registering for the Conference you are consenting for your data to be used as per the “Data Consent Policy”. If you decide against your data being used, your registration will be cancelled less the cancellation fee above.

Information presented at the NZIEC KI TUA 2024

The information presented at the Conference is solely intended for Education Professionals.
You understand and agree that you are being provided with the information for educational and informational purposes only and that information will be provided to educate you on the latest educational advancements.
You understand and agree that whilst the content is accessible worldwide, some content may be applicable to particular regions only, such as Australia and New Zealand. 

Although NZIEC KI TUA strives to present only current and accurate information at its Conference, you agree not to solely rely on this information or consider it to be any form of professional advice without additional independent review of its accuracy, completeness, efficacy, and timeliness.
Any decisions as to how you use this information is in your sole discretion and Education New Zealand Manapou ki te Ao will not be liable for any issues that may arise from such use.  

Participant conduct

You will conduct yourself in a professional manner that is free from any form of discrimination, harassment, or retaliation.
You will treat all participants with respect and consideration to create a collegial, respectful, inclusive, and professional environment at NZIEC KI TUA.

Legal claim

This agreement is subject to the law of New Zealand. In the event of any legal claims arising from either party, New Zealand shall be the sole court of jurisdiction. 

Programme

Education New Zealand Manapou ki te Ao reserve the right to modify the programme, which is published as an indication only. 

Accommodation terms and conditions

• Prices are in New Zealand dollars and include Goods and Services tax of 15%.
• A credit card guarantee is taken at the time of booking. The credit card will be charged by the hotel as specified below.
• Rates provided for each of the hotels are specific to the Conference dates only.
• Rates provided are for Room Only unless otherwise specified.

Bay Plaza  

• A credit card guarantee is required to secure your booking.   The credit card details submitted to guarantee your accommodation will be securely transferred to the hotel to charge for your accommodation on or after 5 July 2024.  Any additional costs and incidentals incurred whilst at the hotel are to be paid on check-out.
• If you make your booking after 5 July, your credit card will be charged for your full stay immediately.
• If you cancel your booking on or after 5 July 2024 or fail to check-in on the arrival date this payment will not be refunded.
• Payments by credit card incur a surcharge of 2%. 
• Room configurations are subject to availability. The requested configuration will be sent to the hotel but cannot be guaranteed.
• All guests will be required to provide credit card details for pre-authorisation on check-in. If the guest does not wish to use their credit card then a deposit may be required on check-in
• Check-in time is 2:00pm Check-out time is 10:00am.

Naumi Hotel & Naumi Studio  

• A credit card guarantee is required to secure your booking.   The credit card details submitted to guarantee your accommodation will be securely transferred to the hotel to charge for your accommodation on or after 5 July 2024.   Any additional costs and incidentals incurred whilst at the hotel are to be paid on check-out.
• If you make your booking after 5 July, your credit card will be charged for your full stay immediately.
• If you cancel your booking on or after 5 July 2024 or fail to check-in on the arrival date this payment will not be refunded.
• Payments by credit card incur a surcharge of 2.5%. 
• Room configurations are subject to availability. The requested configuration will be sent to the hotel but cannot be guaranteed.
• All guests will be required to provide credit card details for pre-authorisation on check-in. If the guest does not wish to use their credit card then a deposit will be required on check-in
• Check-in time is 3:00pm, Check-out time is 10:00am.

Ohtel 

• A credit card guarantee is required to secure your booking. Your credit card details will be securely provided to the hotel to guarantee your reservation. Full payment will be required during check in. Any additional costs and incidentals incurred whilst at the hotel are to be paid on check-out.
• If you cancel your booking on or after 5 July 2024, or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified the hotel will charge the credit card supplied a cancellation fee equal to the total amount of room nights booked.
• Payments by credit card incur a surcharge of 2%.
• Room configurations are subject to availability. The requested configuration will be sent to the hotel but cannot be guaranteed.
• All guests will be required to provide credit card details for pre-authorisation on check-in. If the guest does not wish to use their credit card then a deposit will be required on check-in.
• Check-in time is 3:00pm, Check-out time is 10:00am.

TRYP by Wyndam

• A credit card guarantee is required to secure your booking.   The credit card details submitted to guarantee your accommodation will be securely transferred to the hotel to charge for your accommodation on or after 5 July 2024.  Any additional costs and incidentals incurred whilst at the hotel are to be paid on check-out.
• If you cancel your booking on or after 26 July 2024, or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified the hotel will charge the credit card supplied a cancellation fee equal to the total amount of room nights booked.
• Payments by Visa or Mastercard incur a surcharge of 1.5% or a surcharge of 2% for payments by American Express.
• Room configurations are subject to availability. The requested configuration will be sent to the hotel but cannot be guaranteed.
• All guests will be required to provide credit card details for pre-authorisation on check-in. If the guest does not wish to use their credit card then a deposit will be required on check-in
• Check-in time is 3:00pm, Check-out time is 11:00am.
