General Recommendations for Shipping
- Put collateral in your baggage and have a backup with you in case of unforseen shipping issues.
- Make sure you inform your international courier that all fees and custom taxes are payable by the sender (you), and not the recipient. Shipping of materials to events and any associated costs are your sole responsibility .
- Ship two to three weeks before the start of each event. Please do not send materials more than three weeks prior to event commencement.
- Print and use the labels we have designed. Please write the name of the institution on the label, to help identify the owner of each package. These labels also help to distinguish our event packages from others.
- Do not insure your packages. Insured packages are always subject to customs controls, which results in delays.
- Always include the original commercial invoice. Write the specific content of the package, do not use general terms.
- Use Track and Trace. Track your shipment every day and inform us immediately if anything is out of the ordinary. Spotting a customs problem in advance may help expedite the delivery if action is needed. A customs problem may result in undelivered materials and extra fees.
